What size handhole plate does a fulton boiler use?
The Fulton-compatible handhole assemblies listed are 3" x 4" elliptical. They are sized by boiler horsepower, from 4-6 HP up to 100-150 HP.
What is the difference between a less ring and a patch plate handhole assembly?
A less ring assembly includes the plate and yoke but not the ring, for use where the existing ring stays in place. A patch plate assembly includes a plate designed to go over an existing opening.
What does a handhole yoke do?
The yoke sits across the outside of the opening. When the nut is tightened, the yoke pulls the handhole plate tight against the gasket and boiler shell.
