We stock cast iron boiler sections for most current boilers and some obsolete boilers along with all the necessary assembly accessories such as port seals, push nipples, hi-temperature rope, silicone adhesive and tie rods.
Most commercial boiler sections are individually available. Most residential boiler sections are only available as an “assembled block”.
Sections can be picked up at our Bronx warehouse or shipped within one day. We have negotiated favorable shipping rates with many freight companies. If we are temporarily out of stock, most sections can be shipped within (1) week.

A: Many residential and commercial boilers are made up of Cast Iron Sections, that are drawn together vertically, using tie rods. Water is heated inside of these sections, creating either steam or hot water, depending on the system.
Q: How are boiler sections connected?
A: 3 Common ways of connection boiler sections:
- Cast Iron Boiler Push Nipples (similar to the ones you find on a Radiator),
- Hydronic Port and Elastomer Seals,
- Running Thread Nipples (for the HB Smith “Mills” header type boilers).
Hi-temp rope gasketing and or silicon may also be used in addition to the push nipples, port seals and running thread nipples.
